建议：理论上来说，外国人使用15天免签来中国的话，入境的时候护照只要有16天的有效期就足够了（不过外国人乘坐飞机的航空公司是否对于护照有效期有其他额外期限要求，还请和航空公司确认）。

建议：一般情况下，免签入境后是无法在中国境内转成长期居留许可的，如果外国人来中国的目的是为了接下来申请长期的居留许可，例如，长期的团聚居留许可，工作或者学习居留许可等等。那么外国人还是应该在国外提前申请相应的签证入境，而不能使用免签入境。
Q9: Is it possible to apply for a visa extension if my stay in China exceeds 15 days?
A: If foreigners plan to stay in China for more than 15 days, they should apply for a visa corresponding to the purpose of coming to China at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in advance. Advice: Visa free cannot change to residence permit inside of China. If you already knew that you would come into China and apply for example, the long-term family residence permit, the work or the student residence permit, etc. Then please do not use visa-free to enter China, you should apply the proper visa in advance in the Chinese Consulate aboard.
问10：是否可以多次入境，对入境时间间隔是否有要求，是否有免签次数、总停留天数限制？
答：外国人如符合免签来华条件，可多次适用免签政策来华，目前对免签次数、总停留天数暂无限制，但应注意不得从事与入境事由不符的活动。
